We would like to thank Our Sacred Grief for their engagement at the Banner Grange on February 23rd -25th of 2024.

The expression of grief has traditionally been communal and held as a necessary and sacred process.

Too often in our modern times we hesitate to express our grief and hold our sorrows privately with a hidden burden of shame. Our sufferings tend to go underground, away from eyes that could offer healing.

Utilizing tools offered to us by Francis Weller, author of The Wild Edge of Sorrow, we use powerful writing practices as well as drumming, singing, poetry, movement and ritual.

Together we carry our stories into the seen world where they can be held with the healing embrace of beauty and community.
